I started Holdford Landscapes in 1986 when I was just 16 years old, since then the business has grown substantially to become the reputable company it is today. Our multi skilled team offer a reliable, efficient and friendly service throughout the year and in all weathers.
My wife Louisa joined me in running Holdford Landscapes 18 years ago and has since learned all the skills needed to arrange our customers a bespoke quotation for any work required and also manage the diary and sourcing of materials.
As a family run business, we value our personal approach and always endeavour to work with each client to create or maintain your dream garden.

Louisa left her job as a Hotel Sales Manager 18 years ago to assist Phil in the day to day running of Holdford Landscapes.
Since then she has developed long term professional relationships with both commercial and residential customers and has developed a wealth of knowledge in both the Landscaping and Gardening Sectors.
On the rare occasion Louisa gets a day out of the office, she will normally be found socialising with friends or putting her feet up with a good book.

Ollie joined Holdford Landscapes in November 2021, from a corporate background. He quickly fitted in and started out on the Grounds Maintenance side of the business.
These days he will normally be found on the landscaping side where he is enjoying building gardens with the team.
A football fanatic, Ollie loves nothing more than taking his son to matches, playing football and hanging out with his two children.

You may recognise Guy as Cookhams previous friendly local postman!
Guy joined our team in 2023 and has since become our Grounds Maintenance Leader, assisting the teams to continue in keeping all your gardens looking beautiful.
Guys downtime is normally spent playing or coaching football or hanging out with his family

Ethan joined Holdford Landscapes 12 years ago at a mere 18 years old and since then has developed many skills, working alongside Phil, in both the gardening and Landscaping side. These days he is our highly skilled head Landscaper and is renowned for his amazing work ethic and skilled paving work.
Ethans evenings and weekends are usually spent walking his dogs or fishing.

Samuel joined the grounds maintenance team in May 2020 and since then his knowledge of gardening and customer service has grown considerably. Our customers always comment on his work ethic and lovely smile!
In his spare time, Samuel will be found playing his guitar, watching football or hanging out with friends

Known as Phil 2 (so that we can differentiate between him and the boss!) Phil joined Holdford Landscapes in 2019 with 10 years gardening experience already under his belt.
Phil is hugely knowledgeable on all types of gardening and we call him the plant encyclopedia! In his spare time, he too will be found by the side of a lake, fishing.

Jack joined the team from a hospitality background back in 2022 and fast became an asset to the grounds maintenance team.
Another football fanatic, Jack loves nothing more than a kickabout with his mates or a game of Fifa on the X-Box

Affectionately known as ‘Chewy’, Brad joined us as the newest member of the team in 2025 as a labourer for the Landscaping team. His Coffee skills have greatly improved and his knowledge of all things landscaping is coming along nicely too!
In his spare time, Bradley is yet another football fan who enjoys playing and watching with his friends.

Joining our team imminently is Irrigation expert Luis,
Luis comes from a background of all types of irrigation installation and maintenance and we are all looking forward to this new chapter at Holdford Landscapes!………
He is also a very talented Chef so lunch should get better too!
